Tile will add sophistication and value to your property, whether for the kitchen, bath, living room, or hallway floor. While there are always an unlimited number of designs, you can expect to see even more eye-popping colors and creative shapes this year in the tile store.

Wood-look floor tile

This is big because wood and realistic wood mimics are expected to remain popular for 15 or more years, and these, from brands like Daltile, Interceramic, MSI, etc., are about as true-to-life as they get.

This product combines the beauty of wood with tile functionality, with features like intricate patterns, raised grains, textures, knots, and color variations. It can be cut into planks of all sizes and arranged in distinctive layouts, such as chevrons and herringbones. It's worth a trip to our tile shop to look at these.

Big, bold shapes & decorative patterns

You'll see hexagons, triangles, fans (sometimes referred to as fish scale). Also, look for circles, arabesques, Moroccan, encaustic styles, art deco designs, and Biophilia patterns (loosely translated to "love of nature"). This reminds us of foliage, flora, sun, sky, and water, all from brands like Marazzi, Happy Floors, and more.

Marble-look tile flooring

Just the word "marble" evokes thoughts of luxurious hotel bathrooms and castles, and the tile manufacturers aren't disappointing! Give your bathroom the style of an upscale wellness spa, easily accomplished with marble floors and glass wall tiles.

Other stone tiles include slate, limestone, quartz, granite, and terrazzo. So if you think stone looks are for you, come into our showroom to check out Laurel Heights or Quarry Natural from American Olean or D. Segni Terrazzo from Marazzi.

Getting bigger and bigger

Porcelain, a large format tile, can be as large as 24-inches square. It's heavier, denser, and waterproof whether or not it's glazed, making it especially ideal for heavily trafficked floors, as well as for wood or stone mimics and large, distinctive designs.

At CRT Flooring, we'll have every style needed for your tile flooring project! So come to our showroom in San Antonio, TX–and get a free quote while you're at it. We service Austin, Houston, Laredo, McAllen, Victoria, Corpus Christi, and Port Aransas.
